Expert Furnace Inspection in Sacramento, CA

A furnace inspection from Hot & Cold HVAC gives Sacramento homeowners a clear picture of their heating system's condition before winter arrives or after a performance concern. Our technicians check the heat exchanger for cracks, test the igniter and flame sensor, inspect the gas valve and burners, measure airflow through the blower, and verify thermostat calibration. A cracked heat exchanger is a serious safety issue that can allow carbon monoxide to enter your living space — catching it during an inspection prevents a dangerous situation. Sacramento's winters are mild compared to much of the country, but cold snaps in December and January still put real demand on furnace equipment. An inspection gives you confidence that your system is ready. If we find a problem, we explain it clearly and give you repair or replacement options. Call Hot & Cold HVAC to schedule your furnace inspection in Sacramento today.

Furnace Inspection FAQ

Common questions about furnace inspection in Sacramento, CA.

Yes, Hot & Cold HVAC schedules furnace inspections in Sacramento throughout the year. Inspecting before the heating season is common, but we can assess your system whenever you have a concern.

Our Sacramento furnace inspection covers the heat exchanger, ignition system, burner assembly, gas pressure, blower motor, airflow, thermostat, and flue venting. We check each component and share our findings with you before recommending any repairs.

If your furnace is making unusual noises, heating unevenly, or has not been serviced recently, an inspection is a practical next step. Sacramento's dusty climate accelerates filter and component buildup, which can affect performance even in newer systems.

Yes, a furnace inspection checks the heat exchanger for cracks and confirms the flue is venting exhaust gases properly. These are two of the most common sources of carbon monoxide risk in Sacramento gas furnaces.

A furnace inspection is a planned assessment of your system's condition, not a response to a breakdown. Hot & Cold HVAC uses the inspection to identify issues in Sacramento homes before they cause a heating failure.

Yes, we inspect furnaces of all ages in Sacramento. Older systems often have worn ignition components, corroded heat exchangers, or venting issues that a professional inspection can identify.

Hot and cold has been maintaining our ac systems for years. They changed out 2 roof top units for our business a few years back. Great work with zero issues. They also did my house. Great company and highly recommend them.

Tim from hot & cold came out for second opinion after another company said our system couldn’t be repaired. Then they quotes us 15k for a new system. Tim had our system repaired in a couple hours and said it should be replace in the near future since it’s 18 years old. We plan on having hot $ cold replace our system next month for thousands cheaper than the other company quote. We really appreciate the honesty professionalism from time to time. Highly recommend this company.

Hot and cold came out to our house fixed our air conditioner, gave us a quote to replace our old system, we plan on having them out to put in a new system. They showed up on time and their prices were fair, Tim seemed very knowledgeable. Thank you for the help.

We had a freon leak and, of course, it happened during the triple digit heat wave when we needed AC the most! We were referred to Tim and he was able to fit us in his schedule right away. He was able to identify the source of the leak and repair it. He stands by his great work and his company is also reasonably priced. Our neighbors have also been having AC issues and we've been referring everyone to Tim! We'll be keeping his contact info for any future needs!
